Schedule / Job TypeContract | Rotating Days & Nights | 3×12 or 4×12 Hour Shifts
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care within a surgical oncology unit, including ENT, colorectal, and urology patient populations
- Manage care for step-down patients requiring closer monitoring and intervention
- Maintain patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:4-1:5 on day shifts and 1:6 on night shifts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status, responding promptly to changes in condition
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or a compact state license
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience in oncology, surgical, or step-down nursing
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with ENT, colorectal, or urology surgical patient populations
- Familiarity with step-down or progressive care unit workflows
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment
