Oncology RN – Acute Leukemia | Columbus, OH

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our oncology team caring for patients with acute leukemia. In this fast-paced speciailty, you’ll provide high-quality patient care, administer and monitor treatments, assess changing patient conditions, and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team.

Position Overview

As an Oncology RN, you will be responsible for caring for patients with acute leukemia and supporting them throughout their treatment journey. You’ll work in a collaborative environment where strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and compassionate patient care are essential.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to acute leukemia/oncology patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and recognize changes requiring intervention.
• Administer and monitor oncology treatments according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Chemo Certification – ONS/ONCC
• NIHSS certification
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Previous oncology experience required
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
