- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and the oncology care team
Description:
An exciting opportunity to join a community-based oncology practice that is part of a nationally recognized cancer center.
This small practice includes a physician, advanced practice provider, licensed practical nurse, ambulatory technician, and three registered nurses.
The infusion assignment involves a mixture of hematology, oncology, monoclonal therapies, and non-oncology referral infusions.
A typical infusion assignment is for eight patients and includes chemotherapy teaching at the chairside.
The maximum daily infusion capacity is 24 patients.
The ability to work independently and manage a full patient assignment with minimal supervision is essential.
Strong IV and vascular access skills are required.
Candidates should possess excellent communication skills with patients and the oncology care team.
