Experience in radiation oncology is preferred but candidates with general oncology experience will be considered. Key responsibilities include triage, outgoing phone calls, phone assessments, patient education, care coordination, and assessments. The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Nurses may work 8-hour shifts with some possibility for 9-hour shifts, which will be scheduled weekly. There will always be other registered nurses present to provide support. A team-oriented environment is fostered and has shown a high rate of traveler retention. Candidates can expect to float to similar outpatient oncology sites in the area.
