Job Title: RN Medical Surgical Oncology
City: Columbus

Contract Length: 16 weeks
Shifts: Nights
Shift Details: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Weekly Schedule: 36 Hours
Certifications/Licences:
  • ACLS*, BLS, OCN*
Mandatory Experience:
  • RN Medical Surgical Oncology
  • HEMATOLOGY ONCOLOGY EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
  • ONS CERTIFICATION PREFFERED
  • Oncology experience preferred but not required
  • Floating to other Med/Surg and Oncology Units
  • Certifications Required
    • BLS
    • ACLS
  • Skills Required
    • MS/Tele
    • Telemetry
    • Interpretation of dysrhythmias
    • Telemetry -on the unit monitoring
    • Use of Rapid Response Teams
    • Feeding tube care and management
  • IV therapy/Phlebotomy
    • Blood Product Administration
    • Central line blood draw
    • Peripheral Line Care/Management
    • PICC line management
    • Starting IVs
  • COMPUTERIZED CHARTING: EPIC
