Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required (Saturday & Sunday)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care at an IMC level of care for a diverse oncology population including general med/surg, BMT, clinical trials, surgical oncology, and all liquid and solid tumor diagnoses
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4–5+ and apply telemetry skills as required by the unit
• Administer chemotherapy in accordance with facility protocols and CHEMO certification requirements
• Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Float within scope of practice to other oncology units, as well as MS/Tele, Stepdown, and IMC floors as needed
• Provide work coverage or on-call availability for at least 1 of 2, or 2 of 3, winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's) based on unit needs

Required Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license or valid Compact nursing license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• CHEMO certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with BMT or clinical trials in an oncology setting
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records
• Experience working in an IMC or step-down level of care environment
