Weekend coverage will be expected based on staffing demands. The position requires proficiency in accessing and managing ports, administration of chemotherapy, and care for oncology patients. Experience with charting systems, particularly Epic, is required. Candidates must be skilled in handling various patient care scenarios related to oncology nursing. The workload may include administration of blood products, management of chemotherapy side effects, and wound care. Candidates should exhibit strong critical thinking skills and be able to recognize and communicate abnormal lab values.
