Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, specifically in oncology. Floating to other units such as Med/Surg, Med/Tele, ED, and Postpartum is required. Candidates must be willing to work four weekend shifts per four-week schedule. Documentation will be done using the EPIC system. Pre-approved time off must be included in submissions. The nurse will care for adult and geriatric patients. The average daily census is between 21 and 26 patients. The unit has a total of 30 beds. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy. Candidates will float within the facility based on patient census. Previous permanent staff are not eligible for rehire. Training modules are required and will include EPIC training.
