TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Oncology RN in Aurora, Colorado, 80045!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: 2 years of acute care experience required License: BLS, CO or Compact RN license Certifications: Oncology certification preferred, not required Must-Have: - Previous experience working in flexible staffing ratios - First-time travelers accepted - Weekend coverage as per unit needs - Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs Description: This position requires a registered nurse with experience in medical surgical oncology. The role involves working night shifts with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week. COVID-19 vaccine is not required for this position. Travelers will need to manage varying nurse-to-patient ratios, which may flex based on staffing needs. Candidates should have experience using an electronic charting system, specifically Epic. Floating to sister facilities may be required based on operational needs. A maximum of ten approved RTO days are permitted during the contract period. RTO is not allowed during specific time frames. Candidates are expected to be familiar with administering chemotherapy and managing care for oncology patients. Knowledge of advanced directives, isolation precautions, and various oncology-related procedures is essential. Successful candidates will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in an oncology setting. All travelers must complete necessary facility-specific modules during the first week of the assignment. Communication and teamwork are vital, as interdisciplinary support is involved in patient care.
