Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care on an oncology/chemotherapy unit during night shift hours
  • Administer chemotherapy and other oncology-related treatments in accordance with facility protocols
  • Monitor and assess patient responses to treatment, reporting changes in condition to the care team
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
Required Qualifications
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Prior to start, candidates must complete the following pre-employment lab tests: Complete Blood Count (CBC), Complete Metabolic Panel (CMP), Urinalysis, and Reticulocyte Count
  • Experience in oncology or chemotherapy nursing
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Previous travel nursing experience in an oncology setting
  • Familiarity with chemotherapy administration protocols and safety standards
  • ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification
