Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology.
This role involves the care of patients with a variety of cancers.
The nurse will administer inpatient chemotherapy regimens.
Responsibilities include managing patients undergoing treatment while demonstrating knowledge of oncology emergencies.
The nurse will provide symptom management and psychosocial support to patients and their families.
The position requires skills in IV therapy and infusions, including the administration of antibiotics, antivirals, and other medications.
The nurse should be proficient in patient care management, wound care, and handling oncologic emergencies.
Regular floating between departments and units may be required.
The nurse will be responsible for educating patients on their care and treatment.
Weekend shifts are part of the scheduling requirements.
