Description:
This position is for a Travel RN in the Bone Marrow Transplant ICU.
The unit has 37 beds and a staff of 60 nurses and 5 patient care technicians.
The night shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 10-12 nurses, and 3 patient care technicians.
Patient ratios are 1:2.
The typical equipment used includes Baxter Pumps and the EMR system Meditech.
Common procedures performed include administration and monitoring of high-risk infusions, as well as neutropenic fever protocols.
