Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care within an oncology/radiation oncology setting
- Administer chemotherapy and related oncology treatments in accordance with established protocols
- Monitor and assess patient responses to treatment, documenting findings and escalating concerns as appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and support patient care plans
- Adhere to holiday coverage expectations, including working 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Chemotherapy Certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in oncology nursing
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in a radiation oncology or cancer center environment
- Familiarity with oncology-specific electronic health record systems
- Strong patient education and communication skills within an oncology population
