Registered Nurse – Oncology
Location
Saint Paul, MN | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every 3rd Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Oncology Infusion setting within an acute care hospital environment
- Administer infusion therapies and monitor patients throughout treatment in accordance with established clinical protocols
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic (Excellian) electronic health records
- Float within the hospital or to an affiliate facility as needed to meet staffing requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license or willingness to obtain Minnesota licensure upon offer acceptance
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Oncology or related specialty (first-time travelers accepted)
- Proficiency with Epic/Excellian charting system required
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
- No open background cases; fingerprinting required per Minnesota state mandate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in oncology infusion or hematology/oncology nursing
- Familiarity with travel nursing compliance processes and documentation requirements
- Experience working in a teaching hospital or trauma-designated facility
