Job Summary
Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse on the Medical Surgical Oncology Floor is responsible for providing direct patient care in a specialized oncology setting. This position involves delivering evidence-based nursing interventions to adult patients undergoing cancer treatment and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care and patient safety.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Days shift; 9.5 hours per shift; minimum of 38 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; no minimum experience required
  • Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN) or related specialization; previous experience in oncology or medical-surgical units preferred
  • Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The role requires adherence to facility policies and clinical protocols, including crisis prevention and intervention protocols. The candidate will be expected to demonstrate knowledge of oncology treatments and patient management in a fast-paced environment.
