# Job Opportunity – Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse – Texas
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Location: Plano, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day or Night Shift available; 1:5 or 1:6 patient ratios; every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts per month

- Opportunity to work with oncology patients requiring specialized surgical care and support
- EMR system: Meditech; equipment includes Baxter pumps, SCD machines, Mobilab, and glucometers
- Structured staffing model with Charge Nurse, RNs, Patient Care Technicians, and Health Unit Coordinators
- Float to Medical Oncology and Medical/Surgical units as needed
- Professional dress code with royal blue scrubs
Requirements:- Active RN license in the state of Texas
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Strong communication skills and ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy in patient care
- Experience with medication administration, chest tube management, NGT management, and Foley management
- IV insertion skills and chemotherapy experience preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Adherence to facility attendance and unit policies required
