Job Opportunity – Oncology Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: September 22, 2026

Location: Dallas, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day and night shifts available, rotating weekends, 4:1 patient ratio (max 5:1), 41-bed oncology unit

Highlights:

  • Specialized oncology unit caring for medical oncology patients requiring blood and electrolyte replacement therapy
  • Modern unit equipped with Baxter pumps and Meditech EMR system
  • Collaborative team environment with dedicated charge nurse, RN, and PCT support staff on each shift
  • Consistent patient ratios with maximum 5:1 ratio to ensure quality patient care
  • Opportunity to work with central lines, ports, and perform sterile dressing changes
  • Contract begins September 2026 with Tuesday start date

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in Texas (or ability to obtain)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
  • Strong understanding of sterile dressing changes and infection prevention protocols
  • Solid knowledge of blood and electrolyte replacement processes and protocols
  • Experience with medical oncology preferred
  • Familiarity with ports and central lines strongly preferred
