Job Summary:
Occupational Employee Health Registered Nurse (RN) for a healthcare organization located in a community setting. This position involves managing health screens for new hires, providing immunizations to protect staff, handling blood and body fluid exposure incidents, and conducting respiratory protection training and communicable disease management. No direct patient care is involved. The role requires learning a new in-house electronic health record system, with no use of Epic. The schedule is days, with shifts lasting eight hours, and a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days, 8 hours shift, minimum 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid state nursing license (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of RN experience in occupational health or related field, and the ability to learn and adapt to new electronic health record systems
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with health screenings, immunizations, and communicable disease management; previous work in a community hospital or occupational health setting is a plus
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to nearby facilities as needed
  • Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared to work 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). All scheduling requests, including time off, must be submitted upfront during application. Candidates must respond to the required questions regarding prior employment at healthcare facilities. References covering at least 1 year of work within the past 3 years are required.
