Position Overview
Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking an experienced Nurse (RN) with adult patient experience to support an onsite Occupational Health clinic at a facility in Baytown, TX.
Schedule: Days | 8s | 40 hrs/week
Contract Length:52 weeks
Pay:$55/hr
On-Call:1 week every 4–5 weeks (required)
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-placement and periodic occupational health exams
- Detect adverse health effects (including hearing shifts) that may impact workplace safety
- Evaluate employees for return-to-work and fitness-for-duty
- Manage employee cases and recommend appropriate work restrictions/limitations in coordination with supervisors and HR
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotation
- Support clinic operations/flow as needed (rooming/triage support, vitals, etc.)
- May perform/assist with:
- Drug & Alcohol (A&D) testing
- Blood draws
- Hearing testing and/or fit testing
- Immunizations
- Travel to nearby sites may be required to conduct exams
Requirements
- Active Texas RN license (required)
- 1–2+ years RN experience (required)
- Adult RN experience (required)
- Occupational Health experience (preferred)
Certifications (Required within 3–6 months if not already held)
