Overview
We’re seeking a detail-oriented clinical professional to support student health services in a structured, mission-driven setting. In this role, you’ll assist with routine medical assessments, perform specimen collection, support provider exams, administer medications as directed, and help promote a safe, healthy environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in student medical examinations and assist with patient intake and preparation for testing/exams
- Collect specimens (blood and urine) as needed, including phlebotomy
- Screen patients and escalate/refers to the appropriate clinical leadership or mental health team when indicated
- Observe, document, and report vital signs, symptoms, and patient behavior
- Provide first aid treatment as needed
- Assist the physician during examinations and procedures
- Educate and guide students on personal hygiene and basic wellness practices
- Prepare and administer prescribed medications as directed
- Maintain medical equipment and manage inventory of supplies/medications
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records
- Support health and safety initiatives and center-wide wellness projects
- Review and assist with student files as directed by center leadership
