    Registered Nurse – OB/GYN

    Location

    Worthington, MN

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | Full-Time | Onsite | Weekends Required (2 out of 3) | 8 or 12-hour shifts

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide nursing care for OB triage, labor and delivery, postpartum, well-newborn, and special care nursery patients, including IV therapy, antibiotics, and short-term respiratory support (CPAP or O2)
    • Care for GYN surgical patients within a 12-bed Women's Center unit (2 triage, 5 LDRP, 5 overflow postpartum/GYN surgical)
    • Interpret fetal monitor strips and utilize central fetal monitoring system (OBIX)
    • Attend vaginal deliveries and provide immediate care and resuscitation of newborns
    • Document patient care using EPIC electronic charting and manage medications via Acudose dispensing cabinet
    • Float to General Medical unit as needed when OB census is low
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 2 years of OB nursing experience
    • Demonstrated competency in fetal monitor strip interpretation
    • Experience attending vaginal deliveries and performing immediate newborn care and resuscitation
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records and OBIX fetal monitoring systems
    • Experience with Acudose or similar automated medication dispensing systems
    • Background in GYN surgical patient care
