    Job Title

    Travel Registered Nurse – Women's Services (OB/GYN)

    Location

    Rutherfordton, North Carolina

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Hours/Week | Every 3rd Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care across Women's Services including Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, Postpartum, Gynecology, and Pediatrics
    • Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status using Philips fetal monitoring systems with OB Trave Vue
    • Manage patient assignments based on acuity across a unit that includes LDR, Triage, Antepartum, and Postpartum/Gyn/Peds beds
    • Demonstrate charge nurse capabilities as needed within the unit
    • Document patient care accurately and efficiently using MediTech EHR
    • Float to other areas of the unit as required based on staffing and patient needs
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN licensure valid for practice in North Carolina
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Pediatrics, and/or Gynecology
    • Required certifications prior to start: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
    • Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel placement
    • Charge nurse experience required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • 3 or more years of experience with charge nurse responsibilities in a Women's Services or OB setting
    • Familiarity with MediTech EHR and Philips fetal monitoring technology
    • Experience caring for a diverse patient population including maternal, newborn, adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients
