Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 25-bed High Risk OB unit with variable patient ratios (1:1 through 6:1) depending on acuity
- Circulate c-sections and assist with vaginal deliveries and bereavement care
- Manage and monitor patients on magnesium drips and other high-risk antepartum interventions
- Support labor and delivery, mother-baby, and OB/ED patients as required by floating policy
- Document patient care using Connect and Expanse electronic health record systems
- Collaborate with charge nurses and unit staff to maintain safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of experience in High Risk OB or related specialty
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN
- Demonstrated experience with high-risk antepartum care, labor and delivery, and c-section circulation
- Experience administering and monitoring magnesium drips
- Ability to float to OBED, mother-baby, and labor and delivery units as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with bereavement care in an OB setting
- Familiarity with Connect and/or Expanse documentation systems
- GYN nursing experience
