Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3 weekend shifts per schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to high-risk antepartum and OB/GYN patients on a 25-bed unit with varying patient ratios (1:1 through 6:1)
- Circulate C-sections and assist with vaginal deliveries and bereavement care
- Manage and monitor patients on magnesium drips and other high-acuity interventions
- Document patient care using Connect and Expanse electronic health record systems
- Float to OBED, Mother Baby, and Labor and Delivery units as needed
- Collaborate with charge nurses, unit secretaries, and interdisciplinary team members each shift
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in High Risk OB, Labor and Delivery, or related OB/GYN setting
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN
- Experience with magnesium drips and C-section circulation
- Labor and delivery and gynecology experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- High-risk antepartum nursing experience
- Bereavement care experience
- Familiarity with Connect and/or Expanse documentation systems
