Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to obstetric and gynecologic patients throughout all phases of care
- Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York or compact eligibility
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience in OB/GYN or Labor and Delivery nursing
- Ability to work rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- ACLS certification
- Prior experience in a high-volume or acute care OB setting
