Schedule: 13-week contract; may be placed on-call up to 3 times per contract period as determined by OB leadership
Highlights:
- Provide comprehensive care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns in a fast-paced obstetrics unit
- Perform triage, non-stress tests (NST), serve as second nurse at deliveries, and manage overflow patients
- Work within a critical access hospital setting with strong interdisciplinary collaboration
- EPIC EMR system in place for seamless documentation and care coordination
- Occasional cross-training opportunities with Med/Surg, CCU, or ER departments
- Team-oriented environment dedicated to excellent, patient-centered maternal and newborn care
Requirements:
- Active RN license and labor & delivery training required
- Current certifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate level or above)
- Willingness to support on-call coverage as needed during contract period
- Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, pediatricians, and multidisciplinary care teams
