Key Responsibilities of the RN - Obstetrics- Provide high-quality care in antepartum, labor and delivery, post-partum, and level 2 nursery settings
- Ensure adherence to AWHONN staffing guidelines based on patient acuity
- Participate in on-unit learning and 3-day orientation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care
- Utilize EPIC charting system for accurate medical records
- Assist during surges in other departments as required
Requirements of the RN - Obstetrics- Active IL RN license or confirmation of application initiation
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, 2 years preferred
- Certification in BLS and NRP
- EFM competency
- Experience in L&D, post-partum, and level 2 nursery required
