Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Obstetrics Profession: RN Specialty: RN - OB Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36-48 hours, 1900-0730 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Must-Have: EPIC experience Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment. Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops a care plan that prescribes interventions to attain desired outcomes. Implements the care plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and safety. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Identifies outcomes for the patient or the patient’s situation. Collaborates with the patient, family, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and humane patient care. Provides learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members. Delivers health information to patients, families, and treatment teams. Participates in discharge planning to provide continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
