**Exciting Opportunity for an RN in Women's Services - Nights!**
**Job Description:**
- Perform comprehensive patient care interventions, including:
- Medication administration
- Specimen collection
- Clinical treatments and other medical care tasks
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care continually.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions effectively with:
- Care team
- Physicians
- Patients
- Families
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, focusing on:
- Personal hygiene
- Elimination
- Nutrition
- Ambulation
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure coordinated patient care, including:
- Patient transfers
- Discharges
- Referrals
- Spiritual and psychosocial support needs
- Evaluate the learning needs of patients/families and provide tailored education based on:
- Age
- Culture
- Condition
- Circumstances
- Advocate for both physical and emotional well-being of each patient.
- Circulate during Cesarean Sections and assist the physician during deliveries.
- Follow established policies for the recovery and care of surgical patients.
- Attend to neonatal assessments post-delivery in the C/Section suite.
- Keep your skills sharp with continued education, including:
- Fetal monitoring certification every two years
- STABLE and NRP certification classes
- Effectively communicate vital information to physicians and patients.
**Requirements:**
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE & AWHONN certifications required.
- Must possess a WY RN or RN compact license.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in:
- Level 1 Nursery
- Postpartum
- OB/GYN
- Labor and Delivery (L&D/LDRP)
- Experience with OB/GYN patients (post-op hysterectomy), Antepartum care, Triage care, Labor and Delivery, and Postpartum is essential.
- Flexibility to float to other units as needed.
- Completion of the SageWest coversheet required with submission.
