Contract | Night Shift | Weekends Required (every third Friday and Saturday, plus a scheduled Sunday every three weeks)
Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients and families during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases of childbirth
• Deliver skilled newborn care in accordance with Indiana Perinatal Standards
• Utilize electronic fetal monitoring equipment and interpret fetal heart rate patterns
• Document patient care accurately using the Epic electronic medical record system
• Operate unit equipment including fetal warmers and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Maintain mandatory attendance for all 7 days of orientation (Mon-Fri Week 1, Mon-Tue Week 2, 8-hour days)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of OB/GYN nursing experience
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the standard contract rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
• 3-5 years of OB experience, including LDRP and postpartum settings
• Familiarity with Epic EMR and electronic fetal monitoring systems
