Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery / LDRP Registered Nurse – Michigan

Location: Owosso, Michigan

Schedule: Every third weekend required; holidays as needed. Non-billable orientation of 8 hours. Call shifts available at $4/hour with callback, holiday, and overtime multipliers at 1.25x. Facility-provided scrubs.
Highlights:
- Provide comprehensive care to over 500 families annually in a Family Birth Place setting
- Full-scope LDRP experience including Labor, Triage, Delivery, Circulating, C-Sections, Newborn Care, and Postpartum Couplet Care
- Contract assignment with clearly defined schedule and limited requested time off (maximum 5 days, must be specified at submission)
- Team-focused environment emphasizing caring, compassion, and family-centered maternity care
- Must reside more than 50 miles from facility; reliable personal vehicle required
- Must successfully complete dysrhythmia competency testing prior to floor assignment
Requirements:
- Active Michigan RN License (verified through LARA and/or Nursys)
- Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN nursing experience
- High proficiency in all LDRP competencies: Labor, Triage, Delivery, Circulating, C-Sections, Newborn Care, and Postpartum Couplet Care
- Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
- Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Active AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certification
- STABLE certification preferred
- Current skills checklist (within 1 year) specific to OB/GYN specialty
- Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
- COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions allowed)
- All scheduling requests and time off must be submitted at time of application; post-offer requests will not be approved and may result in rescinded offers
