Key Responsibilities- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients in an obstetric setting according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Collect, assess, and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses, care issues, and develop individualized care plans
- Implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and evaluate progress toward patient outcomes
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide safe, patient-centered care
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and provide health education to patients and families
- Float to additional facility locations as needed; floating to nearby facility required as assigned
Required Qualifications- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification required
- S.T.A.B.L.E. (STABLE) certification required
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required
- Minimum of two years of recent experience in OB/GYN or related nursing specialty
- EPIC electronic health records experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior acute care facility experience
- Experience in a community or regional hospital setting serving diverse patient populations
