Experience: Minimum 2 years of OB experience required; must have completed 1 travel assignment
License: Active Ohio or Compact RN License
Certifications:
- Active American Heart Association BLS
- Active American Heart Association ACLS
- Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
- Active S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification
- Active Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Certification
Must-Have:
- Ability to function as a first assist and scrub OB is highly preferred
- No holiday requests off will be accepted
Description:
The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients during their shift.
Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria.
Judgments are made based on scientific knowledge and clinical skills.
The RN assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPN, PCT, and Unit Secretaries.
Must demonstrate flexibility with work schedule changes.
