Key Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients throughout each shift
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using age-specific criteria
• Apply scientific knowledge and clinical skills to support sound clinical judgment and decision-making
• Assist in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff including LPN/PCT and Unit Secretaries
• Demonstrate flexibility with work schedule changes, including floating to units within scope of practice and skill set
• Ability to function as a 1st Assist and Scrub OB is highly preferred

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License (must reflect Active status via Nursys)
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS Certification
• Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
• Active S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification
• Active Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Certification
• Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN nursing experience required
• Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
• Current OB/GYN Skills Checklist (within the past 1 year) required at time of submission
• Candidates with a permanent address within 45 miles of the facility are considered local travelers and may be subject to an adjusted rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience functioning as a 1st Assist and Scrub OB
• Familiarity with MediTech EMR
• Availability and willingness to work varied shifts
