Schedule: 3 weekend shifts per schedule; patient ratios range from 1:1 to 6:1 depending on acuity; charge nurse and unit secretary support availableHighlights:- Specialize in high-risk antepartum care within a dedicated 25-bed Women's High Risk OB unit- Gain experience across Labor & Delivery, Mother Baby, and OBED through cross-training and floating opportunities- Perform critical procedures including c-section circulation, vaginal deliveries, and bereavement care- Work with magnesium drips and manage high-acuity maternal patients requiring specialized monitoring- Utilize Connect and Expanse electronic documentation systems- Join an experienced team with dedicated charge nurse coverage on every shiftRequirements:- Current RN license in Tennessee (or ability to obtain)- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications required- High-risk antepartum nursing experience strongly preferred- Labor and Delivery experience with demonstrated competency in c-section circulation- Experience managing magnesium drips and high-risk obstetric patients- Gynecological nursing experience preferred- Ability to float to OBED, Mother Baby, and Labor & Delivery as needed- Adherence to dress code: navy blue, seal blue, or grey scrubsWhy It's a Great Opportunity:This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on mothers and babies during their most vulnerable moments.
