Description:
This position is in a High-Risk OB unit with a capacity of 25 beds.
Patient ratios may vary from 1:1 to 6:1.
Each shift includes a charge nurse/CNC and a unit secretary when staffing allows.
Familiarity with the documentation system is required.
Staff may float to other related units as needed.
Candidates must possess skills to circulate c-sections.
Labor and delivery experience is essential.
Experience with magnesium drips is required.
Previous gyn experience is necessary.
Advanced skills such as ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications are mandatory.
Procedures performed on the unit include c-sections, bereavement care, and vaginal deliveries.
Required attire includes navy blue, seal blue, and grey scrubs.
