Job Opportunity – Labor and Delivery / Antepartum Registered Nurse – Texas

Schedule: 13-week assignment, weekend schedule (every other weekend), 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shifts scheduled to fill unit vacancies. No on-call requirement.
Highlights:
- 19-bed high-acuity antepartum unit within a newly renovated Women's Services department
- Patient ratio of 1:5, providing manageable workload with high-risk obstetrical patients
- Primary documentation systems include Meditech and CPIN
- Experience with preterm labor management and magnesium sulfate management required
- Floating as needed to support unit operations
- Opportunity to work with an experienced, dedicated maternal health team
Requirements:
- Active, unrestricted Texas RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of hospital-based experience in high-risk Labor and Delivery or Antepartum care
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
- ACLS and RNC certifications preferred
- Meditech experience strongly preferred
- Must demonstrate competency in high-risk obstetrical patient care, including magnesium sulfate and preterm labor management
