Job Opportunity – Labor and Delivery / Antepartum Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: May 5, 2026

Location: Dallas, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 13-week assignment, weekend schedule (every other weekend), 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shifts scheduled to fill unit vacancies. No on-call requirement.

Highlights:
  • 19-bed high-acuity antepartum unit within a newly renovated Women's Services department
  • Patient ratio of 1:5, providing manageable workload with high-risk obstetrical patients
  • Primary documentation systems include Meditech and CPIN
  • Experience with preterm labor management and magnesium sulfate management required
  • Floating as needed to support unit operations
  • Opportunity to work with an experienced, dedicated maternal health team
Requirements:
  • Active, unrestricted Texas RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
  • Minimum 2 years of hospital-based experience in high-risk Labor and Delivery or Antepartum care
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
  • ACLS and RNC certifications preferred
  • Meditech experience strongly preferred
  • Must demonstrate competency in high-risk obstetrical patient care, including magnesium sulfate and preterm labor management
