Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Newborn Nursery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Must-Have: 2+ years of SCN/NICU experience preferred Description: Newborn Nursery requires NICU Level 2 experience. Shift times are from 0600-1830 and 1800-0630. The unit has 8 Level II SCN beds and handles approximately 800 births per year. There is 24/7 availability of NNP and Neonatology services. BLS and NRP certifications are required. Experience in a Level II Special Care Nursery or NICU setting is preferred. This role is in an acute care setting with a trauma level of 3. Charting is done using Allscripts.
