Registered Nurse (RN) - Special Care Nursery

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Special Care Nursery team. This position requires a strong clinical background, particularly in nursery and delivery room settings.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and STABLE required
  • Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment
  • Experience in Special Care Nursery/Level II is essential
  • Delivery room experience required
  • Charge nurse and preceptor experience is mandatory

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Special Care Nursery
  • Float to postpartum for baby care assignments as needed
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Engage in precepting new staff as required

Schedule:

  • Night shift – 3x12 hours
  • Every other weekend required
