- **Start Date:** ASAP
- **Duration:** 13 weeks
- **Shift:** Days (7a-7p)
- **Location:** Alabama (50+ miles from facility)
- **Required Credentials:**
- Current ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications
- 2+ years of Nursery RN experience
- Licensed to practice in AL (no NURSYS hits)
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide exceptional care to Newborn Nursery patients during the crucial neonatal phase.
- Apply the Nursing Process in compliance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Exhibit critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care delivery.
- Anticipate and plan for safe, effective care based on comprehensive assessments.
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and professional development.
- Delegate patient care priorities according to the experience and education of available staff.
- Offer direction and supervision to assigned personnel to ensure high-quality patient care.
