Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Nurse Navigator for a travel nursing job in Irvine, California.
Location: 1 Irvine, CA 92612
Start: 10/05/2026 | Duration: 26 weeks
Shift: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | 40 hrs/week
Specialty: Nurse Navigator – GI/IBD
Experience: 1+ year Nurse Navigation/ambulatory coordination + Med-Surg experience required
Ambulatory experience: Highly preferred
Certs: BLS required | CCRN preferred
License: Active CA RN license required in hand
EMR: Epic required
Patient Population: Adults & geriatrics
Call/Phones: Busy phones, 10–30 patient messages/day, MyChart management, telephone triage
Duties: Patient education, IV starts/infusions, medication administration, B12 injections, lab follow-up, biopsy follow-up, care coordination, direct-admit authorization, discharge education
Patients: GI bleeds, Crohn’s disease, IBD
Float: Same clinic to other nurse navigators
Locals: Accepted at same rate
RTO: No RTO first 2 weeks; max 7 days per 13 weeks preferred
References: 2 supervisor references required
Important:No Nursys or background hits accepted.
Note: **Must have MS experience.** 2 year(s), Nurse navigation /coordinating in ambulatory setting - M/S experience required, Ambulatory experience is a plus
