We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a hospital in Sitka, AK. Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily nursing unit operations and ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to foster professional growth and performance excellence
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans and unit policies
• Monitor staffing levels and scheduling to maintain appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios
• Conduct quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
• Manage incident reports, grievances, and conflict resolution among staff and patients
• Participate in budget planning, resource allocation, and operational goal-setting for the unit
✅ Requirements
• Active AK or Compact RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (preferred), NRP (preferred), Oncology or Infusion Nursing Certification (preferred) certifications
• 5+ years of Nurse Manager experience
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, quality improvement processes, and staff development best practices
Pay
Salary range: $104,000 to $145,000 per year.
