Description:
The Infection Control/Prevention Program Manager will cover all patient care areas, including inpatient, emergency department, surgery, procedural, and ambulatory settings.
This role involves device rounding, environmental rounding, and surveillance of healthcare-associated infections and device-related infections.
Responsibilities will include orienting new staff as needed.
The position requires CIC certification and experience in infection control.
Previous leadership experience is preferred.
The selected candidate will work closely with clinical staff and participate in safety huddles every morning.
Regular rounding will occur across procedural, inpatient, and emergency department areas.
The dress code includes navy scrubs for RNs and black scrubs or business casual attire for non-RNs.
Occasional weekend reviews of construction activity may be required.
The role does not include call or standby responsibilities.
