Key Responsibilities
- Oversee supervision of patient care and nursing staff within the Medical/Surgical unit
- Manage day-to-day Medical/Surgical operations to facilitate efficient clinical workflow
- Collaborate with the leadership team to support effective resource management
- Drive staff development initiatives and support ongoing professional growth
- Lead and participate in quality improvement efforts on the Med/Surg unit
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Demonstrated expertise in nursing practice
- Prior experience in a supervisory or management role within a clinical setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience managing Medical/Surgical units or similar acute care environments
- Background in staff development and performance management
- Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies in a healthcare setting
