We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager for a 26-week contract assignment in Bethel, Alaska. The successful candidate will help coordinate nursing activities, support clinical staff, and promote compliance with established policies and patient safety standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily nursing unit operations and coordinate patient care activities.
Support nursing staff with clinical guidance, workflow coordination, and problem-solving.
Monitor patient care quality and ensure compliance with clinical policies and procedures.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Assist with staffing coordination and efficient allocation of unit resources.
Support staff development, communication, and performance improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation and promote patient safety.
Help ensure the unit operates efficiently while meeting established care standards.
