Key Responsibilities

• Serve as House Supervisor overseeing a 25-bed inpatient unit that serves detox, swing bed, and medical patients across a scattered-bed model
• Supervise nursing staff and support personnel, including LPNs assisting with medication pass and ALC/swing bed assignments
• Manage patient care for a diverse census including CHF, pneumonia, COPD, chest pain observation, syncope, diverticulitis, cellulitis, ETOH withdrawal, opiate withdrawal, and debility
• Coordinate care across a facility that includes a 7-bed ED and day surgery; float as needed throughout the facility
• Oversee subacute patients requiring rehabilitation for debility, wound care, and long-term IV antibiotic therapy
• Maintain compliance with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications and adhere to inpatient RN staffing ratios (1:7 nights)

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered New York State RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of House Supervisor or RN Manager experience
• Emergency Department (ED) experience is required
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience is required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates within 75 miles are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are not accepted for this role)
• Familiarity with swing bed, detox, and subacute patient populations
• Experience with bariatric patient care and associated equipment
• Comfort working in a small, community-based acute care setting with limited ancillary support (e.g., Respiratory Therapy available Monday–Friday, 7 AM–3 PM only)
