JOB OVERVIEW
Seeking an experienced Director of Facility Operations to provide strategic leadership and oversight of facility infrastructure, capital projects, maintenance operations, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. This position is responsible for managing facility-related programs, ensuring safe and efficient building operations, supporting long-term capital planning, and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulatory standards.

Develop and oversee capital improvement plans addressing infrastructure and facility needs
Manage preventative maintenance programs, building systems, and facility operations
Oversee capital renewal projects, renovations, and infrastructure improvements
Coordinate activities involving contractors, architects, engineers, consultants, and vendors
Lead facility maintenance programs to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations
Conduct facility assessments, inspections, and operational reviews
Develop, implement, and maintain departmental policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with accreditation, regulatory, life safety, environmental, and workplace safety standards
Participate in regulatory audits, inspections, and accreditation surveys
Coordinate planned facility interruptions and operational projects with stakeholders
Manage departmental budgets, capital expenditures, vendor contracts, and operational costs
Analyze operational and maintenance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
Oversee support services associated with facility operations and infrastructure management
Serve as a subject matter expert on facility operations, maintenance, and compliance initiatives
Bachelor s Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience
Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) or related facility management credentials preferred
Strong knowledge of facility operations, maintenance management, and infrastructure planning
Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards affecting healthcare facilities
Demonstrated leadership and project management experience
Strong financial management and budgeting skills
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
5-7 years of healthcare facility operations management experience
Experience managing preventative maintenance and facility infrastructure programs
Experience leading capital projects, renovations, and facility improvement initiatives
Experience managing outside contractors, vendors, and service providers
Experience developing and administering operational and capital budgets
Experience supporting compliance, accreditation, and regulatory requirements
