TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.
RN NICU Float Pool
Required:
- 2 years of LVL III/IV NICU experience
- EPIC
- BLS, NRP
Preferred:
- PALS
- Travel experience
Patient Diagnoses:
Will float to PICU, CV PICU, stepdown, and MS as needed. Must be willing to comply with facility float expectations. Will be given an appropriate assignment in these areas.
Per facility- "ED is part of the critical care floating cluster, however, the NICU leader I spoke with said she hasn’t seen a NICU traveler ever float there in the past 10 years. They are more likely to float to CTICU, PICU or Med/Surg"
Special Procedures/Unit Details:
IMPORTANT for RNs to be aware- will float to BPD (bronchopulmonary dysplasia) NICU. Average length of stay is 2-3 years. Must be comfortable with frequent trach care and heavy parent involvement.
