Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse - Bakersfield, CA
This role involves providing specialized nursing care for neonatal patients in a fast-growing healthcare facility. The NICU Nurse will oversee patient care, supervise nursing staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes for fragile infants.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for neonatal patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs activities of nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN), Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor, Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS), STABLE Certification (STABLE), 1 year of experience in an acute care facility.
  • Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Must have EPIC experience; holiday RTO will not be approved.
