Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 2 year minimum; travel experience required
• Licensure: Valid CA RN License.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP (AHA or ARC approved).

unit Details & Clinical Scope

• Unit Type: Level III / Level IV NICU
• Patient Population: Neonates and Infants (23 weeks and up, surgical, cooling)
• Patient Ratio: 1:2 to 1:3
• Floating: Required to Peds, PICU, or Nursery
• On-Call: None
• Weekends: Every other weekend
• Key Skills & Procedures: Ventilator management (Jet, HFvent, AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP), High Flow, LISA, PICC & Umbilical line insertion/management, Dysrhythmia, NAS, VCUG, MRI, Swallow studies, Bronchoscopy, Ostomy care.

Locals are also accepted, and the local rate is $61/hour.
