Level 2 Special Care Nursery RN | JFKUMC

Location: JFK University Medical Center, Edison- NJ
Shift: Days, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
Hours: 36 hours/week
Weekends: Required
Holidays: As needed
On-Call: Not required
Float: As needed

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Special Care Nursery experience required
• 3+ years of Mother-Baby experience required
• Must have experience caring for newborns

Clinical Skills:

• Competent in managing higher-acuity infants (32 weeks' gestation and above)
• Competent in stabilizing infants less than 32 weeks' gestation
• Strong newborn care skills required

Education:

• ASN required
• BSN preferred

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 3+ years Mother-Baby experience
• Newborn care experience
• NRP certification
• AHA BLS certification
• NJ RN License or Compact RN License
• Experience with high-acuity and premature infant stabilization (including infants under 32 weeks' gestation)
